The Infamous Masterson’s , positioned in the vibrant core of Moonee Ponds, markets itself as a trendy “hipster” hangout , but my unfortunate encounter at this establishment turned into one of the worst experiences of my life . While the bar may present a friendly façade, what I experienced behind its walls was shocking and unacceptable on multiple levels .

The Condition of the Premises : Squalid and Abandoned
From the moment I entered , it was evident that upkeep was not a priority at this bar . The surfaces were tacky , and a foul smell of uncleaned spills and dirty bathrooms polluted the entire pub. Emitting a scent of a mixture of urine , a rotting odor and sickness .
